How will I know I'm looking at a sale ticket?
To help you spot a bargain, we've added “flairs” that will appear on top of each result containing at least one promotional fare.
Why book with TrainSplit?
You don't need to book through Northern to take advantage of this offer, it's available across all ticket offices and online retailers. TrainSplit is a National Rail accredited ticket retailer that sells tickets for all GB train operators, including Northern.
If you purchase from us, what's more is that we'll sell you the best-value fares for your journey. Using our industry-leading split ticketing algorithm, we can sell you the most cost-effective combination of promotional and ordinary fares (where sale tickets are unavailable) to help you save even more on your travel.
For example, if you live off Northern's route—you don't have to miss out—we can sell you a ticket to get you to your station served by Northern, and then onwards using a promotional fare.
We don't charge a booking fee. We only charge a small fee if we're able to find you a saving by splitting tickets - so if we don't find you a saving, you won't pay us a penny more than you would have been charged elsewhere.
What's the catch?
Tickets on sale are less flexible, Advance fares. This means that they are non-refundable and tied to specific trains. You also won't be able to stack your Railcard discount on top of these promotional fares, but don't worry, if you select a railcard then we'll work out what the cheapest option is for you automatically.
